UMBERTO ˣ LUCE Warranties: Built for Durability and Authenticity

At UMBERTO ˣ LUCE, we believe that true quality speaks for itself from day one. Our footwear is designed for the urban lifestyle, built to keep up with you every step of the way without losing its edge. That’s why we offer specific warranties depending on the collection you choose, covering any manufacturing defects that may arise. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about your warranty and how to claim it.

1. WORRY-RIDE+ Lifetime Warranty

All RIDER+ and EVERYDAY+ models come with our WORRY-RIDE+ (W-R+) Lifetime Warranty, which covers any manufacturing defects for life. We want you to step out with confidence, knowing that every detail of your footwear is built to last.

If a manufacturing defect occurs, we will repair or replace your pair with no time restrictions, provided that the product meets the warranty conditions. If the model is discontinued, we will offer you an equivalent product of the same value.

2. 1-Year Warranty – RIDER & EVERYDAY

Our RIDER and EVERYDAY collections come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If your footwear experiences any issue caused by production flaws within this period, UMBERTO ˣ LUCE will repair or replace it with an equivalent model if it is discontinued.

3. Urban Use & Accidents

Our footwear is engineered for the city, featuring durable materials and solid construction. However, we do not recommend using them for extreme sports or activities beyond urban environments. If your footwear sustains damage due to a manufacturing defect during an accident, your warranty remains valid.

However, if the damage results from the accident itself or improper use (such as exposure to corrosive chemicals or activities beyond urban settings), the warranty will not cover it—whether it’s the WORRY-RIDE+ (W-R+) Lifetime Warranty or the 1-year warranty.

4. How to Claim Your Warranty

Gather your information: You’ll need your order number, contact details, and clear photos of the issue.
Contact us: Submit your request through our contact form. Include the model, size, and a detailed description of the defect.
Evaluation: Our team will review the evidence to confirm whether it is a manufacturing defect.
Resolution: If approved, we will repair or replace the product. If it’s discontinued, we will offer an equivalent model.
Shipping costs: Customers are responsible for covering shipping costs for both sending the defective pair and receiving the replacement.

5. Refunds

30-Day Limit: Refunds can only be requested within 30 days of receiving the product.
Used Footwear: If already worn, we will assess whether the defect is due to a manufacturing issue. If confirmed, a refund will be processed.

6. Repairs & Maintenance

If your footwear requires additional care outside of the warranty, we’ve got you covered. At UMBERTO ˣ LUCE, we offer repair services to help extend the life of your boots. 7. What the Warranty Doesn’t Cover

The following cases are not covered by any of our warranties, including the WORRY-RIDE+ (W-R+) Lifetime Warranty or the 1-Year Warranty:

Normal Wear and Tear: Scuffs, creases, peeling, or color fading that occur over time in an urban setting.
Improper Use: Extreme impacts, cuts from sharp objects, exposure to harmful substances, or use beyond urban conditions.
Unauthorized Modifications: Repairs performed by third parties or alterations that change the original structure.
