EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
At UMBERTO ˣ LUCE, we are committed to offering high-quality products designed to withstand the demands of urban life. However, we understand that situations may arise where you need to request a return or exchange. Below, you'll find all the information you need to guide you through the process.

General Conditions
All items eligible for return or size exchange must be shipped back within 30 days from the date you received your package. Please note that items marked as OUTLET, LAST PAIRS, or purchased during clearance sales are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Products must be returned in new, unworn condition with all original accessories (e.g., boxes and laces). If these conditions are not met, we will not be able to process the return or exchange.
Size Exchange
If your purchase meets the General Conditions and you need a size adjustment, contact us immediately to reserve the correct size. A one-time free size exchange (via standard postal service) is available. If you prefer express shipping, an additional fee will apply.
If your requested size is unavailable but the model is still in production, we will manufacture a new pair for you, ensuring you get the correct fit, though additional production time may be required.
Defective Products
All our footwear is backed by a manufacturing defect warranty, with coverage depending on the line you purchase:
- RIDER and EVERYDAY: 1-year warranty.
- RIDER+ and EVERYDAY+: Lifetime Warranty (WORRY-RIDE+).
Both warranties cover issues such as sole detachment, stitching defects, and other failures attributable to manufacturing. They do not cover damages caused by improper use, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, contact us immediately. After inspection, we will take the necessary steps to repair or replace it in accordance with our warranty policies.

Return Process
- Request a Return: Submit your request through the form available HERE . You will receive return instructions within approximately 24 business hours.
- Packing and Shipping: Ensure you use a secure, trackable shipping method and retain your tracking number as proof. Shipping costs must be covered by the customer, except in cases of manufacturing defects or incorrect size shipments caused by UMBERTO ˣ LUCE.
- Customer Responsibility: From the moment you receive your package until it reaches our warehouse, the item is your responsibility. If lost or damaged in transit, we will not be able to process a refund.

Refunds
- Product Refunds: Can be requested within 30 days of receiving the item. If the product has been worn, a refund will only be issued if a manufacturing defect is confirmed. Refunds are processed only after merchandise inspection, which may take up to 14 days. The amount will be credited to the original payment method, subject to bank processing times.
- Shipping Refunds: For international returns, initial shipping costs and return shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of confirmed defects or incorrect sizing. In such cases, we will refund the item’s value and the equivalent of standard postal service shipping costs.
- Taxes & Duties: Import taxes, duties, and customs fees are non-refundable. If you have paid them, you must contact your country’s customs office directly to request reimbursement.
Late Returns
Returns received after the 30-day window may be accepted at the discretion of UMBERTO ˣ LUCE. If approved, they will only be refunded as store credit.
