Footwear care
Leather lasts if you treat it right.
Your pair is made to go with you, but not into the washing machine, direct heat or harsh chemicals. This guide tells you what to do before applying water, soap or cream.
Before cleaning
What you should never do.
Most serious damage does not come from wear: it comes from trying to clean quickly with water, heat or harsh chemicals.
Washing machine or dryer
Excess water and heat can weaken the leather, the adhesives and the structure of the footwear.
Químicos agresivos
Avoid degreasers, solvents and abrasives. They can damage flexibility, colour and materials.
Guardar húmedo
Trapped moisture can cause mould, odour and premature wear.
Sol intenso
Prolonged sun exposure dries out the leather and can cause cracking or loss of flexibility.
The basic method
Cuidado paso a paso.
Take your time. The aim is not to make it look new; it is to preserve the leather, remove dirt and keep the pair ready to keep wearing.
Take out the laces
If your model has them, wash them separately in cold water with liquid detergent for dark fabrics.
Dry without heat
Blot the excess with a dry cloth, without rubbing hard. Leave it to air in a ventilated place.
Remueve suciedad
Use a cleaner made for leather, such as saddle soap, with a slightly damp cloth.
Condition the leather
If it is dried out, work in a leather conditioning cream. Wipe off the excess with a clean cloth.

Textiles, prints and leather
Care by material, not on impulse.
- 01
On textiles or heat-applied prints, brush dry with soft bristles to lift surface dust.
- 02
For light marks, use a damp cloth without excess water and without rubbing hard.
- 03
Do not use abrasive sponges or stiff brushes on prints; they can wear them away.
- 04
Leave it to air dry, away from direct sun or strong heat sources.
Modelos Rider
What changes if you ride.
On models built for motorcycling, cleaning also has to look after the contact areas: the gear-lever guard, the sole and any residue that affects grip.
Gear-lever guard
A damp cloth and a soft brush.
Lift surface dirt. If it is more ingrained, use lukewarm water with a soft brush and dry in the shade.
Suelas
Remove residue before storing.
Clean with a dry brush. Avoid extreme heat and let it dry naturally if it gets wet.
Riding habits
Do not brake with your feet.
Dragging heels or soles speeds up wear. Use the bike's brakes, not your footwear.
After rain
Air it before storing.
Do not shut it away damp. Blot off the excess water, let the leather breathe and check for odour the next day.
Video guía
Look after it properly.
Watch the visual guide before applying water, soap or cream. If your pair mixes materials, ask on WhatsApp before improvising.
Frecuencia
Do not wait for the dirt to harden.
After dust, rain or a long ride, clean off the residue and let it air. Leather keeps its character better when it is not stored damp or caked in dirt.
Cuándo preguntar
If you are unsure about the material, keep chemicals away.
- Oil or solvent stains.
- Leather that is badly dried out or cracked.
- Textiles with heat-applied prints.
